**Day 1 Depart from your HOME City for Johannesburg, South Africa on Monday, October 5th, 2020. Arrive at O.R Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa October 6th, 2020

**Day 2 Johannesburg - Arrive at Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB) collect your luggage and clear Customs & Immigration then proceed to the shuttle pick up area where you will be met by a Travel representative and transferred to the Hilton Sandton Hotel. The 5-star Sandton Hilton Hotel is well situated near the famous Nelson Mandela Square and Rosebank Shopping Mall where you’ll find a multitude of restaurants, shops, entertainment and the ‘not to be missed’ Rosebank African Arts Market where you’ll find a vast selection of African art, memorabilia and souvenirs. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to Mandela Square and the hotel is located on the hop-on, hop-off bus route for touring major attractions in the city. Enjoy today at your leisure. **Day 3 Johannesburg - Breakfast in the Executive level lounge or at your leisure. Depart for your day of leisure in Johannesburg. The Maboneng District is a thriving art center of this city where one can visit up and coming artists. Visit down town Johannesburg where you will learn about the Constitutional Court that played an important role in post-Apartheid South Africa. Today you will be picked up for your full day Soweto and Apartheid Museum tour with lunch at Sakhumzi. You will visit the legendary SOWETO, (South Western Township) home to over 2 million people, who, despite living in crowded conditions, have a true sense of community and exemplify the spirit of ‘Ubuntu’ or Humanity towards other which ironically may be lacking in the suburbs. Inside Soweto, you will visit the Hector Pieterson Museum, and discover the cause of the tragic riots which led to his death; visit Vilakazi street where Mandela House is located as well as the location of Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s home , and give you time to visit this fascinating little museum (own account). Wednesday Oct. 7th

**Day 4 Johannesburg - Breakfast in the Executive level lounge or at your leisure. Depart for your day of leisure in Johannesburg. Take a visit to the nearby Rosebank Mall (take the free Red Bus transport) for a day of shopping, dining and enjoy your day at the Rosebank African Arts & Crafts mall where you will have plenty of options to choose from vendors selling African art, jewelry, clothes and souvenirs. Shopped too much? There’s a post office nearby and the vendors will pack your items and help you ship them back to the states. Thursday Oct. 8th

**Day 5 – Johannesburg/Hoedspruit - Leave Johannesburg early A.M. and head to your Safari– Check out of the Sandton Hilton and be transported by Hilton shuttle to catch your flight from OR Tambo International Airport to quaint town of Hoedspruit. You’ll spend 2 nights and 3 days at Naledi Bush Lodge, a luxury private game reserve for an exciting safari experience of a lifetime. Set within the expansive area adjacent to the Kruger National Park, Naledi Bush Lodge, a private game reserve, has 7 spacious air conditioned suites most with uninterrupted views over the Big Five game reserve from private patios. All feature full, en-suite bathrooms with lavish amenities replenished daily. The suites are decorated to reflect old Africa in a luxury game lodge setting. Beverage stations for early morning coffee in suite and minibars for sundowners on your private patio are standard in all rooms. **Day 6 – Hoedspruit – Your early a.m. wake up knock on the door will signal it’s soon time for the first game drive of the day. You will get to see the animals as they begin their day in the wild. So, get dressed and head to the main dining lodge for a quick cup of coffee and a pre-breakfast snack before heading out on your game drive. Upon return, enjoy a chef-prepared full breakfast. Afterwards, enjoy a dip in the sumptuous pool, a guided safari walk, spend a few hours watching for animals in the hide or just take a nap. Later, lunch will be served and your final evening game drive and a delicious dinner. The hospitality at this lodge is first rate. You won’t want to leave. The safari including all meals, teas, coffee & pastries, two daily game drives in open safari vehicles and drinks on game drives (water & soft drinks). **Day 7 –Hoedspruit/Johannesburg - Time to say goodbye to the bush! Enjoy your final breakfast and morning game drive before you prepare for transport by car to Hoedspruit airport for your flight back to OR Tambo Airport Johannesburg and onward to Cape Town. Arrive at Cape Town International Airport (CPT) where you will prepare for your flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival in Cape Town you will collect your luggage and prepare for transport to your Cape Town accommodations for check in. Enjoy the evening at your leisure. Sunday Oct. 11th

**Day 8 – Cape Town – Enjoy the day at your leisure; We suggest the Red Hop-on, Hop-off bus to acclimate yourself to the city. Spend the day shopping, dining and taking in the sights at the V&A waterfront. Monday Oct. 12th

** Day 9 – Cape Town The group will be taken on a full day (coach & guide) Peninsula tour including Table Mountain (weather permitting). Visit the iconic Table Mountain, well known for its spectacular views. The new revolving cable cars (tickets provided) give stunning views over the city. The summit of Cape Town’s world-famous landmark is 1,086 meters/3,258 feet above sea level and the mountain itself is a national monument. From the summit you can marvel at the awe-inspiring 360-degree view of the city. After your descent from Table Mountain depart for the Peninsula. On this tour you will see why the area earned the name of The Fairest Cape. Sit back and relax, as you’re driven along the exquisite stretch of coastline known as Millionaire’s Paradise – from Clifton to Camps Bay, to the exclusive beach hamlet of Llandudno – towards the charming working harbor of Hout Bay; if you choose, you can embark on an up-close-and-personal Seal Island cruise (your own account). We then wind our way along the legendary Chapman’s Peak Drive, hugging the cliffs and relishing the breathtaking ocean views. After a stop for lunch (your own account), visit the wild and beautiful Cape of Good Hope Section of the Table Mountain National Park, an integral part of the world-renowned Cape Floral Kingdom. You will have the opportunity to ride the Flying Dutchman funicular (tickets provided) to the old lighthouse for awe-inspiring views! Finally, we head back along the coast towards the City, visiting the historic naval port of Simon’s Town and the endearing African penguin colony at Boulder’s Beach (tickets provided). **Day 10 – Cape TownEnjoy the day at your leisure. Wednesday Oct. 14th

**Day 11 – Cape Town Then this afternoon you will be dropped off at the jetty at the Clocktower at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront to board the ferry for the half hour boat ride to Robben Island for your Robben Island tour. This was where former South African president, Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners were held. It is now a World Heritage Site with stunning views of Cape Town and Table Mountain. For nearly 400 years Robben Island, 7½miles/12kms off the coast from Cape Town was a place of banishment, exile, isolation and imprisonment. It was here that rulers sent those they regarded as political troublemakers, social outcasts and the unwanted of society. During the apartheid years Robben Island became internationally known for its institutional brutality. Robben Island came to symbolize, not only for South Africa and the African continent, but also for the entire world, the triumph of the human spirit over enormous hardship and adversity. Today, you will be escorted around the island by an ex-political prisoner, and given insight into the past and how the human spirit triumphs. Enjoy a leisurely day putting the finishing touches on your stay in Cape Town. Visit the African Arts and Crafts Market on Long street in the heart of the CBD. ** Day 12 – Cape Town After breakfast this morning, you will be transferred to Cape Town International Airport for your scheduled back to Johannesburg where you will await your flight back to the USA.
